Mailing 1 oz bullion in ENVELOPES..You have to staple the piece between two sheets of cardboard and write RIGID where the postage stamp goes??, and take it to the window at the PO, where they will mark in "non-machinable" (costs more) and then the envelope won't be subject to the stresses of machine sorting tape the edges with clear packing tape.
I'm thinking I should tape up the whole envelope.. not sure if that's legal though.. tape the glued part where you would normally lick. Can I tape an envelope? You can use tape to seal an envelope as long as it does not obscure the reading of the address or the cancellation of the stamp. Clear tape over an address is fine because it's still readable. Clear tape over a stamp is not okay because the stamp can not be cancelled. So, you can tape the envelope just not the stamp, but be sure to tape the envelope first and then put the stamp on Use a small amount school glue to glue the cardboard of the coin to the envelope (inside the envelope) on both sides of the cardboard (outter sides) so when the glue hardens, the coin can't move around.
